The entries are split into sections
(within which they are in alphabetical order of christian name regardless of the spelling of the surname):
Scotland, Ireland (which includes Northern Ireland), England,
Other Europe (France, Italy & Spain), Africa, India, Australasia and
North America (incl. Canada), and
Other (which includes some of the foregoing).

The entries are merged where they refer to the same person.
The spelling at IGI is retained except where we know it to be incorrect
(e.g. Indiana instead of India).

This is as a Beta Version - we don't know when it will be completed;
when it has been completed we intend to seek permission from IGI to publish it.
