I have been getting numerous bouncebacks from aol.com
Reason:    SMTP error from remote mailer after initial connection:
host mailin-03.mx.aol.com [205.188.156.249]: 554-(RLY:B1)  The information presently available to AOL indicates this
554-server is generating high volumes of member complaints from AOL's
554-member base.  Based on AOL's Unsolicited Bulk E-mail policy at
554-http://www.aol.com/info/bulkemail.html AOL may not accept further
554-e-mail transactions from this server or domain.  For more information,

SECOND:  I have been receiving numerous emails to wra@arbbuthnot.freeserve.co.uk [delete the second b to get the true name] ostensibly from wra@arbbuthnot.freeserve.co.uk and just_about_anything@arbbuthnot.freeserve.co.uk [delete the second b to get the true name]

AOL (Tel: 001  703 265  4670) tell me it is something they will only sort out with the Freeserve email server administrators.
Freeserve tell me to email them by email to custumer-support@freeserve.com

It is stunningly obvious that Aol is fed up with freeserve not preventing this happening. So Aol is seeking to exert pressure on freeserve.  I don't know what Aol expects freeserve to do. But Aol also allows spammers through - or maybe people hijack or use aol addresses. I am not convinced that the messages aol is ostensibly bouncing back are not being allowed through. Maybe they are. Certainly I get bounce messages on emails that actually make it to their destination. Nevertheless it is disconcerting.
