                1) William Stroud. Clothier. Married at Independant Chapel, Ealing, Brentford, 16 April 1849, Rebecca Buckland (born 20th August 1830; died 1906) as her first husband. She was daughter of William Buckland, corndealer. Rebecca had a sister, Emma Buckland (lady outfitter born Burnham, Bucks c.1833).

                    A) Herbert J Richards. Born Kensington 1875.

                    D) Beatrice Richards. Born Paddington 1880.    
                    D) Brey Richards, a son. Born Paddington, aged 3 mths in 1881.    
                    C) Edith Richards. An Edith Agnes Richards was born Paddington q4 1886 ref 1a-6.    
                    E) Percy Richards. A Percy Edward Richards was born Paddington q3 1893 ref 1a-37.    
                    F) Frank Richards. A Frank Morton Richards was born Paddington q3 1890 ref 1a-59.

                  3. Arthur James Stroud. Born Notting Hill c.1858. Died before Hilda's wedding. Bespoke tailor and merchant. Freeman of London 1905. Lived at 52 Fleet Street, London. Church warden of St Dunstan's, Acton, Middlesex, 1909. Married at St Dunstan's, 1909 [date seems unlikely], Emma Horsall (born Kensington c.1859).    
                    A) Hilda Irene Stroud. "The prettiest girl in Ealing". Born ca 1890. Died King Edward Memorial Hospital 2nd February 1952. Married, 30th April 1912 (aged 22), Thomas Arthur Bowyer Bower.. Witnesses were Ethel Maud Stroud and Sydney John Harris.    
                    B) Ethel Maud Stroud. Married, 1952, Douglas Beamish (dvu 2nd November 1952, six weeks after their marriage). She had a Family Bible dated 1897.    
                  Rebecca married second John Harris as his second wife.
