          i. Henry Rande de Holbech.  Born 1477. Died 6th August 1551.Buried Nettleham , near Lincoln.   He was a  Bishop of Lincoln and reportedly "one of the compilers of the liturgy, and the first married [post reformation] English Bishop".

                    (cc). Nathaniel Rand.  Baptised Marks Tey, Essex 28th December 1658. Married 24th January 1683 (Gregorian) St James's, Colchester, Christine Cater.    
                    (dd). Deborah Rand.  Baptised Marks Tey, Essex 5th May 1660.    
                    (ee). Elizabeth Rand.  Baptised Marks Tey, Essex 3rd September 1662.    
                    (ff). Aquilla Rand.  Baptised Marks Tey, Essex 2nd January 1664.    

This genealogy is not intended to be comprehensive.  (Previously omitted branches may nonetheless be added in response to expressions of interest.)   Therefore the generation indicator mark (e.g.  (A), (i)  or whatever) does not necessarily indicate the chronological position of a child's birth date in relation to those of siblings.

Most of these data come from notes taken from the family bible of Cater Rand 1749 - 1825, which appears to have been inscribed during the first two decades of the nineteenth century. The compiler suspects that they were copied thither from an earlier family bible.  Relatively little corroboration to other sources has been performed at the time of writing, and these data should accordingly be viewed with caution..
