Letters

To Brigadier-General Dirom

Cawsand Bay,  October 9 [, 1804]

I go tomorrow morning to join the fleet, which is at present in Torbay.  I am glad to find that our new Admiralty have allowed the ships to come in when the weather is bad.   It will save many pounds and many lives during the winter.
